Strengthening Our Capabilities in Pennsylvania

We’re excited to announce that our Executive Vice President, Kevin Kleaka, P.G., has officially earned his Professional Geologist (PG) license in Pennsylvania! This milestone further strengthens Impact Environmental’s capabilities, especially as we expand into the Pennsylvania market following our acquisition of PT Consultants.

With our new South New Jersey office just outside of Philadelphia, we are now positioned to take on more complex Act 2 Land Recycling Program projects, which require PG oversight to ensure compliance and environmental integrity.

In Pennsylvania, a Professional Geologist is required for any site characterization and remediation projects that involve geologic or hydrogeologic conditions. This includes:
✔ Groundwater and soil contamination assessments
✔ Fate and transport modeling
✔ Hydrogeologic studies

Additionally, Kevin’s PG certification allows Impact Environmental to sign off on critical reports, including:
✔ Site Characterization Reports (SCR)
✔ Remedial Investigation Reports (RIR)
✔ Risk Assessment Reports involving geologic/hydrogeologic data
✔ Final Reports that include geologic/hydrogeologic conclusions

Kevin’s expertise and leadership ensure that we can confidently manage Pennsylvania-based remediation and land recycling projects, making an even greater impact in the region.

Advancing Health, Safety, and Industry Leadership

We’re also celebrating two additional major professional achievements within our team. Vice President, Greg Mendez-Chicas, CHMM along with Quality Control Manager, Matthew Grosseto, CHMM have both recently earned their Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) certifications!
