Can't Win Them All…Inspiration for Next Year
February 11, 2014
Every year the NJ Department of Environmental Protection presents the Governor’s Environmental Excellence Awards. Although your application was well received and we are encouraged to apply again next year, unfortunately Impact Environmental’s Reuse and Recycling Center (IRRC) did not win in its designated category. We would like to extend our congratulations to the 2013 winner’s: Raritan Valley Community College, Whippany River Watershed Action Committee, Atlantic County Dept. of Regional Planning & Development, Barnegat township School District, Salem County, Montgomery Township Environmental Commission, Prudential Financial, NJ Agricultural Experiment Station, & environmentalist Eric J. Fuchs-Stengel. This only gives us inspiration to work towards being an honoree next year. On a brighter note IRRC, once again passed its inspection on January, 27th 2014 by Gina Conti of the Solid Waste Program. The facility maintains in compliance and proudly operates our facility in an environmentally responsible manner.
