1. LABORER-DRILLER ASSISTANT

Environmental remediation firm with over three decades of success has the following opportunity for a team player with the right experience and motivation to succeed. This position is based out of our Lyndhurst, New Jersey office with travel around NJ and NYC.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate a skid steer.
  • Safety conscious, team player with good communication skills, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and around construction sites.
  • Willing to take on all aspects of the work to get the project done.
  • Able to pass a drug screen and background check..
  • Construction background a plus
  • Current OSHA 40 hour (HAZWOPER) and/or OSHA 10 hour (Construction Safety) certs a plus.

2. ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST/ENGINEER/GEOLOGIST (3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE)

New Jersey (Lyndhurst) based environmental remediation firm with over three decades of success looking for an Environmental Scientist, Geologist or Engineer with 3 to 5 years of full time applicable experience to join our team.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency and significant experience with the following:
  • New Jersey State Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) regulations and guidance
  • Technical writing experience, including Preliminary Assessment Reports, Site Investigation
  • Reports, Remedial Investigation Reports, and Remedial Action Reports/Workplans.
  • Excellent knowledge of low-flow groundwater purge and sampling techniques, as well as working -knowledge of the NJDEP Field Sampling Procedures Manual (FSPM).
  • Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments.
  • Subsurface investigations of soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion.
  • Hydrology, stormwater, and soil erosion and sediment control plans are a plus.
  • Geological/geotechnical borehole logging (Modified Burmeister).
  • Should be comfortable with logistics coordination and working with outside consultants, vendors and service providers.
  • Experience in preparing scopes of work, implementing field investigations, and coordinating field sample pickup and delivery with analytical laboratories.
  • Experience in maintaining New Jersey ELCP Laboratory Certification is a plus.
  • Basic understanding or experience with remediation design (soil, groundwater, and soil vapor) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Willing to be based out of our Lyndhurst, New Jersey office, with travel around the State of New Jersey.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, safety conscious individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • OSHA 40-Hour (HAZWOPER), OSHA 30-Hour and/or OSHA 10-Hour (Construction Safety) certifications a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record with no DUI’s, excessive or major violations in the last 5 years.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental/physical science or science-related fields.
  • 3-5 years of environmental-related experience. Minimum of 3 years.

3. CONSTRUCTION DEWATERING TECHNICIAN

Environmental Construction company with 30 years of continuing growth and success has the following opportunity for a team player with motivation to succeed to join our team. Construction dewatering technician to install, operate and maintain dewatering and treatment systems at construction and environmental cleanup sites in the greater NYC area.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in the operation of well-point, submersible, centrifugal and rotary pump.
  • Experience in plumbing of dewatering/treatment systems.
  • Experience in wiring, operating, and troubleshooting of electrically powered equipment.
  • Experience with operation of heavy equipment and drill rigs.
  • Physical capabilities to perform strenuous manual labor.
  • Willingness and ability to work outside in various climates and conditions.
  • Ability to follow directions pertaining to site safety
  • Willingness to perform well as a team member
  • Reliable transportation

OSHA 10 Hour Construction Certificate, OSHA 30 Hour Construction Certificate preferred.
