Strengthening Our Regional Footprint Across New Jersey and Pennsylvania

March 25, 2026

We’re building a strategically connected facility network, with key developments in Old Bridge and North Bergen, New Jersey that are enhancing our ability to serve projects across the broader New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania corridor.

Expanding Clean Fill Capacity in a Critical Market

Our Old Bridge, New Jersey facility is now coming online, with the truck scale installed and operations actively ramping up. The site is currently accepting approved New Jersey Residential “Clean Fill” from both New Jersey and New York projects, immediately increasing regional disposal and material handling capacity.

Positioned in Central New Jersey, Old Bridge serves as a key midpoint between New York City job sites and downstream processing or reuse locations. This reduces haul times, increases efficiency, and provides clients with a reliable, compliant outlet for clean fill material in a market where capacity is often constrained.

A Strategic Hub for Material Movement

At the same time, our North Bergen facility continues to evolve into a critical logistics hub within our network.

Located just outside New York City, North Bergen plays a unique role in capturing material from dense urban projects and directing it efficiently to its next destination. The facility is now advancing its capabilities to:

✔ Ship material to Palmerton, Pennsylvania for beneficial use
✔ Manage alternative waste streams
✔ Handle Virgin DOT-approved products to support construction and infrastructure needs

This positioning allows us to bridge one of the biggest gaps in the region: moving material efficiently from urban generation points to compliant reuse or disposal sites across state lines.

Why Geography Matters in Material Supply

In the environmental and construction industries, where your facilities are located is just as important as what they do. The tri-state area presents unique challenges:

  • High project density in New York City
  • Limited local disposal capacity
  • Strict regulatory requirements across state lines
  • Rising transportation costs and logistical constraints

By establishing a strategically positioned network of facilities, Impact Environmental is able to:
✔ Reduce trucking distances and project costs
✔ Improve turnaround times for material handling
✔ Provide compliant pathways for cross-state material movement
✔ Support both disposal and reuse strategies

The connection between North Bergen → Old Bridge → Pennsylvania markets creates a clear, efficient flow of materials—something that is increasingly critical as projects grow in size and complexity.

Building a More Connected Approach to Material Management

These developments reflect a broader strategy: investing in infrastructure that doesn’t just add capacity, but creates smarter, more connected solutions for our clients.
