We’ve had long-time team members step into leadership roles in addition to onboarding top-tier technical expertise. We’re proud to recognize three individuals who represent the future of Impact.

Kevin Kleaka, P.G. Promoted to President

Impact Environmental is proud to announce that Kevin Kleaka, P.G. has been named President of Impact Environmental Closures, Inc., the consulting and remediation division of Impact Environmental.

This appointment marks a significant milestone in both the history of our company and in Mr. Kleaka’s distinguished career. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Mr. Kleaka has been with Impact Environmental since its formative years, contributing to the firm’s national growth and technical leadership across complex environmental projects. As a licensed Professional Geologist, Mr. Kleaka has earned widespread recognition for his expertise in environmental remediation and brownfield redevelopment in federal, state and local regulatory programs with stakeholders across the public and private sectors.

As President and Principal, Mr. Kleaka will lead the company’s strategic direction, strengthen operations and continue to uphold the industry-leading standards of service that define Impact Environmental. His appointment reflects both the board’s confidence in his leadership and his longstanding commitment to the firm’s mission and future.

Christine Bell Named Vice President of Finance

Congratulations to Christine Bell, who has been promoted to Vice President of Finance after more than 20 years of service with Impact Environmental.

Christine began her career at Impact at the front desk and has grown steadily through the organization, becoming one of our most trusted senior administrative leaders. Her efforts to implement efficient internal systems and financial controls have played a critical role in strengthening our operational foundation.

In her new role, Christine will continue managing financial operations for our environmental consulting division, bringing continuity, experience, and an unmatched level of commitment to our business success.

Robert Byer, P.G., PHGW Joins the Team

We are also excited to welcome Robert (Bob) Byer, P.G., PHGW, to the Impact Environmental team.

With nearly 40 years of experience, Bob is a highly regarded hydrogeologist and technical project manager. He brings specialized expertise in:

• Hydrogeologic characterizations & infiltration studies

• Groundwater fate and transport modeling

• Environmental remediation and optimization

• Brownfield assessments and regulatory program compliance (RCRA, CERCLA, PA Act 2)

• Expert witness services and litigation support

Licensed as a Professional Geologist in both Pennsylvania and Delaware, and as a Professional Hydrologist by the American Institute of Hydrology, Bob will play a critical role in expanding our presence in Delaware and strengthening our ability to deliver high-level technical solutions nationwide.
